The non-profit organization ‚Anidaso
Ghana e.V.‘ (Anidaso = Ghanaian for hope) was founded in October 2012 by
the former pastor, Horst Klabes, of our parish (Lippetal, my hometown in North
Rhine-Westphalia) who tragically died in a car accident in Ghana 2 years ago.
The organization was already able to collect enough money that now all of the
children are able to go to school, their basic needs are being cared for and
the foundation walls of the new house could be erected.
So far the organization was primarily active in North Rhine-Westphalia but now, as a Berlin delegacy, I would like to address you, my colleagues from the HERE Campus Berlin, to ensure the progress of the construction. |
Im Oktober 2012 gründete unser damaliger Pastor, Horst Klabes, in Lippetal den Verein "Anidaso Ghana e.V.". Anidaso ist das ghanaische Wort für Hoffnung. Lippetal ist mein Heimatort in NRW.
Leider ist unser Pastor vor zwei Jahren bei einem tragischen Verkehrsunfall in Ghana ums Leben gekommen. Doch der Verein besteht weiter und es konnten seitdem so viele Spenden gesammelt werden, dass mittlerweile alle Kinder zur Schule gehen können, für ihre Grundbedürfnisse weitgehend gesorgt ist, und die Grundmauern des neuen Waisenhauses gebaut werden konnten. Bislang war der Verein hauptsächlich in NRW tätig. Nun möchte ich mich, als eine "Berliner Abordnung" des Vereins, ganz persönlich an euch, meine Kollegen wenden, um das Vorrankommen des Projektes zusammen mit euch sicher zu stellen. |
